This past weekend ended up being incredibly busy and lots of fun. I didn't realize how much we crammed into one weekend until last night when I was exhausted! Saturday I met Clare in
Cronulla and we had a look around the town for a bit. The weather was great, but we decided to pass on laying out on the beach and took a ferry to the national park. On the walk we came across this cute parrot. I love its colors!

I also saw my first kookaburra.

On the amazing walk through the park we took two different trails. The first took us right to the ocean and we were on the cliff side. Taking time to relax and enjoy the scenery we easily passed the time at this location. The second trail took us on a longer walk to the water as well but to the beaches. We ended up taking the ferry back, got in our car and drove back to the city.

Thanks to Sarah's recommendation we went on a search for Harry's Cafe De Wheels. They are known for serving traditional Aussie pies in unique ways. I had the Tiger which is a meat pie with mash and peas (also mash) with gravy to top it off.

After a long day, I deserved this pie!

That night Clare had a friend flying in and we were picking her up from the airport. We met a few friends at a place called Max
Brenners for coffee and dessert and then went to pick up Emma. What a day we had.
Sunday Emma and I went to my first cricket game. Apparently these games last FOREVER. We only had time to stay for an hour but it was so much fun to try and understand the game. I still don't get it, but
thats ok. I am not looking to play this anytime soon!

I thought this was so cute. These kids would line up at the fence just waiting for a player to run over and sign their gear.

Look at the middle section under
NSW. What a job!

After the game, Em and I met Clare down at The Rocks for lunch and a look through the markets. It was a great Sunday and we really enjoyed having a guest. Andy comes in 2 weeks and I can not wait to show him around!
