Over the weekend and a relaxing Monday!

Once again I had another great weekend. The only problem is that they go by too fast. Friday night Claire and I celebrated a friends birthday by having a great dinner in Glebe and then attending The Rocks night markets. They had some live music, food and lots of fun stands to look around in. Saturday, we went back to The Rocks and visited Susannah's Place. It is a historic home in the area that highlights what traditional working class family homes were like in Australia. Below is the set of homes that we were able to have a guided tour through. Each room had a different story and we also learned about the people that used to live their as well.

That night we booked a symphony at the Opera House! We were in the main concert hall and for 2 hours got to listen to Sydney Symphony's Prokofiev: First and Final. Getting to walk around the inside of the Opera House was such a treat and the concert hall was unreal!

Did I mention we had front row seats? For $32! Apparently, the Opera House really loves under 30 year olds because they had a deal $30 for under 30. It was a great day. After the show we went over to Guliyans which is a German chocolate cafe in Circular Quay. It was fun to get dressed up and be apart of a show in the Opera House. On Sunday we had the album recording for Hillsong. They had rented out the entertainment center and had all of the campus's come together for a night of praise and prayer. I just have to say that the next CD is going to be unreal. The songs that they come up with are just so good and it was so nice to be apart of that event. Typically the recording is in the spring so to have it moved to November was great!

And this was Monday. Relaxing by the bridge with Denise and just enjoying the warm afternoon! The rest of the week will be busy with volunteering, Christmas party with the place that I work and getting ready for Andy! I pick him up early on Saturday. Can't wait!!!
