This weekend was Clare's birthday so we decided to make the most of it. On Friday we went to a restaurant in Newtown which is really eclectic area of Sydney for dinner and then went to see a movie. By the way, do not spend money on Funny People. So not worth it! Before the party on Saturday we went to Balmoral Beach and spent the afternoon relaxing. It was such a great weekend and near 30! Such a shock because its back to 21 today, cold and windy! On Sunday we went to Bondi which is probably the most famous of the beaches here. They were having some kind of festival/kite day/people everywhere day! Then we went to Hillsong night church. It was such a great weekend and really has gotten me excited for summer!
Today I heard back from Opportunity International that they can use me for some volunteer work. I'm really excited to start working with them next week. I spent today registering with 2 different temp agencies and am really confident that I will get some casual, week to week work. Not too sure what I will end up doing this week. If its nice, I'm hoping to go back to the beach!
