Taronga Zoo

Its been about a week since I've last updated which is good and bad. Good because I'm busy and doing normal day to day activities that aren't interesting to put on a blog and bad because it means you are left wondering what I'm up to! So, on Friday Clare and I went to a great restaurant/pub called the Shakespeare. We walked around Chintatown which was interesting and busy. That is where we found the largest crabs I have ever seen in my life. They were at the front of this restaurant with other tanks full of marine life. Apparently, some people like to pick the food before they kill it and let you eat it. Yuck!

On Saturday we went out to the Taronga Zoo which is accessible by taking a ferry across the harbor. Great views and so much fun to see animals that aren't common back home. The zoo is situated on a hill so you take the sky lift to the top and work your way down by walking.

Today, we took it easy and went down to the Rocks area for lunch and walked around the markets. Aussie's love the markets here and you can always find great food and gifts. Hope you all had a great weekend!
