Monday at Maroubra

On Monday my new thing for the day was to head to Maroubra Beach with my new friend Melinda. I met Melinda at Hillsong and we both had not been to this beach yet. It was overcast, rainy and cold but a perfect day to explore Maroubra. It was beautiful and there were tons of surfers out.


A fisherman caught this and saw us coming so he saved it to show us. After we took pictures, of what I consider to be a small shark, he threw it back into the ocean but it landed on rocks. I screamed and felt awful for the poor thing! The guy barely spoke English... oh well! I hope it was OK.


Tuesday I was supposed to have an interview for a babysitting/nanny agency. However, they rescheduled until Wed. So, I had such a fun morning skyping my family and talking to my mom, Andy, Tim and Jackie:) We did a multiple skype so we were all chatting and just had such a fun time. At one point, I told them that this was my new thing for the day and they said it wouldn't count unless it made the blog.. so here you go!
