The Rocks

Friday was such a great day! I spent time talking to Andy on skype which was just what I needed.. a little love from family:) I'm doing really well now that its been a week and I really think/hope that the hard part is over. I am feeling comfortable with my surroundings and starting to feel like this is my home. I have to pat myself on the back a little here because on Monday, I was afraid of using the train. Thinking I would get lost and not find my way home. However, I have conquered the train and actually understand the system. Not only that but I really enjoy taking the train around the city! I'm not sure if I will even bother with the bus system because I'm getting around so well with the train. The pictures below are a few from my Friday afternoon at The Rocks. This is Sydney's most historic area where the convicts and officers first landed in 1788. It has beautiful buildings and lots of great shopping.
