Catching up on the week.

Ok, I'm really sorry that it has been one week since my last post. I was having problems getting my pictures to upload and lets be honest.. what is a blog without the pictures?! The biggest news to share is that after 9 hours of waiting (we had to wait at least an hour each time we put our name in for the lottery and went 9 times), Clare and I finally got Wicked Tickets! The lottery was finally on our side and Clare's name was called last Wednesday. This was just in time because we were really tired of the rejection! We had front row seats for $30 and I have to be honest, they were unreal. We could hear each persons range and saw everything so clearly. Bert Newton, a local celebrity, played the wizard and that was really fun to see the crowd react to him being on stage. I had thought that after all the hard work we put into getting these tickets, I would be happy with just seeing it once. However, it is totally worth the wait and I think I will try out the lottery a few more times. Might as well!

Thursday and Friday we went to the Encounter conference at Hillsong. It was a lot of fun because it was held at the main campus, which I hadn't been to, and Hillsong United sang. However, it was very youth-y and I could only handle the night services. Below is a picture of a few of my girlfriends. It was so nice to sit together and have time to hang out!
